Global Outreach Student Fellowship 2026

About the Fellowship

The Global Outreach Student Fellowship helps HCBC students deepen their understanding of God’s heart for the nations while preparing for a GO Trip. Each year, a limited number of high school juniors and seniors are accepted into the Fellowship.

Students commit to training, discipleship, and local involvement in the months leading up to their trip. Once accepted and all requirements are completed, Global Outreach will fund 75% of the total trip cost. Students are responsible for the remaining 25%, including the deposit.

Applications open December 1, 2025, and are due January 31, 2026. Spots are limited.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Fellowship, students must:

• Be in the 11th or 12th grade during the 2025–2026 academic year.
• Be a believer who calls HCBC their home church and demonstrate this by regularly attending Sunday services or actively participating in an HCBC Student small group.
• Be accepted and participate in a Hill Country Bible Church GO Trip in 2026.
• Complete the Fellowship Application by January 31, 2026.
• Complete a GO Trip Application by January 31, 2026
• Understand that spots are limited, and not all applicants are guaranteed acceptance.
• First-time participants only (students may only participate in the Fellowship once).

Fellowship Requirements

Students accepted into the Fellowship must complete the following:

• Fellowship Agreement signed by the student and parent/guardian.
• Pay the 10% trip deposit upon trip application approval (applied toward the student’s 25%).
• Attend the Secret Church Sunday Class at 9:00 am on April 26, May 3, and May 17.
• Complete the Explore Bible Study:
  • Students may do this with their small group if the leader chooses to run it.
  • If not, they must attend the Explore class offered by Global Outreach on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, beginning February 8th and running for 7 weeks (Feb 8, Feb 15, Feb 22, Mar 1, Mar 8, Mar 29, April 12).
• Attend the four mandatory Pre-Field Trainings for your GO Trip on March 29th, April 12th, May 17th, and May 31st from 2-4 PM.
• Build a support team by sending out letters (training will be provided).
• (Optional but encouraged) Participate in a local outreach or service opportunity to practice living on mission in your community.

Once these steps are complete, fellowship funds will be applied to the student’s trip balance.

Fellowship Financial Details

• Fellowship funds can only be applied toward the 2026 Hill Country Bible Church GO Trip balance online.
• Funds will not be distributed directly to students, and they do not carry over if the student does not participate in the GO Trip in 2026.
• Personal expenses related to the trip are not covered, including but not limited to:
  • Stamps
  • Passports
  • Immunizations or medications
  • Supplies
  • Souvenirs or recreational outings

Once a student is accepted into the Fellowship and completes all requirements, Global Outreach will fund 75% of the total trip cost. Students are responsible for raising the remaining 25%, including the deposit.
