Japan

COST
$3,400.00

Overview

Travel to Japan and help serve missionaries and church planters who are sharing the gospel across Japan. This team will support the RENOWN Church Planting Conference, a national gathering that encourages and equips missionaries and Japanese pastors serving throughout Japan.

Participants will join volunteers from churches across the United States to help make this conference possible. Our primary role will be leading the children’s programming so that parents can fully participate in the training, fellowship, and spiritual renewal offered during the conference.

By caring for the children and supporting the event, our team helps create space for pastors and missionaries to rest, learn, and be strengthened for their ministry across Japan. This is a unique opportunity to encourage those serving on the front lines of ministry and play a meaningful role in strengthening the church in Japan.

What You'll Experience

Participants on this trip can expect to:

  • Serve missionary and church planting families from across Japan
  • Help lead fun and meaningful children’s programming during the conference
  • Encourage pastors and missionaries who are faithfully sharing the gospel
  • Experience Japanese culture and build relationships with believers from across the country
  • Be part of a larger team of volunteers from churches across the United States

Ministry Focus

The team’s primary role will be to lead the children’s programming during the conference. This allows missionary parents and church leaders to fully participate in the training and sessions while knowing their children are being cared for in a safe, fun environment.

Team members will assist with:

  • Leading children’s activities and programming
  • Helping with games, crafts, and Bible lessons
  • Supporting conference logistics and setup
  • Encouraging missionary families serving in Japan

This is a relational ministry focused on serving, encouraging, and strengthening those who are faithfully sharing the gospel across Japan.

Why Japan?

Japan is one of the least-reached nations in the world, with a very small percentage of the population identifying as Christian. Church planters and missionaries serving there often experience isolation and spiritual fatigue. Conferences like RENOWN provide a vital opportunity for them to gather, be refreshed, and receive encouragement in their ministry.

By serving at the conference, this team will help strengthen and encourage the leaders who are faithfully sharing the gospel across Japan.
