In the Bar

Our team was sharing the gospel in a small village on their market day. We went to a small bar. A member of our team is the local pastor. The men at the bar immediately felt embarrassed. Our team shared the gospel to the men in the bar. One man claimed that he was a drunkard and an addict and could not be saved. Other men in the bar stated that they felt the same way. We explained that that was the enemy speaking to them and that they did not have to be free of sin to have a relationship with Jesus. We explained that Jesus wanted to have a relationship with them now and he would help him through their journey. After our discussion, we prayed for the men in the bar. We then all hugged each other, and the tone was very different from when we walked in. It was an amazing experience.
